We are certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to CSA W47.1 Division 2.1 and have over 100 certified CWB and AWS welding procedures. Jobs of every scale, size and complexity pass through our shop, and our many years of experience have allowed us to develop and perfect our own unique welding methodology. Our custom fixtures, pre-heating and post-heating processes allow us to weld rims to webs without any risk of alloy cracking. Our many welding procedures and specialists ensure that your project is completed in a timely and efficient manner, using the latest welding procedures for all alloy and medium carbon rims.

Our team of experienced welders and technical experts have taken part in the development and creation of many different custom fabrications and prototypes for a variety of industries. We can make the most of any project by using our expertise to find innovative, effective and economical ways to refine new or existing designs without impacting strength or quality.

No job is too heavy for us to handle. From presses weighing over 200,000 lbs to 240" diameter gears, we regularly fabricate weldments that fall well outside the capabilities of less specialized manufacturers. Using innovative assembly methods, we have successfully completed projects that fell outside even our massive 250,000 lb lifting capacity.

We have two large fabrication bays totalling over 30,000 square feet, each one fully equipped with an 80 metric ton crane and several 25 ton auxilliary cranes. With nearly fifty welding machines available, a variety of high capacity positioners, and our own on-site shot blasting and painting facilities, we have everything we need to handle a wide variety of fabrication projects.

We manufacture a wide variety of high quality weldments for many different industries, and our products are used by companies worldwide. Most mining equipment, including these winch drums, have exceedingly high welding requirements. In cases like these where quality is of the utmost importance, we utilize ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) to guarantee all of our products are built to last.
